Acceptance

By consulting this site and using its forms, you accept these terms. If you do not agree to them, please do not use the site.

Scope of the information published

The information presented on this site is general and informative. It replaces neither an inspection nor the opinion of a professional qualified for a particular situation.

We make every effort to keep the content current, without being able to guarantee it is accurate at all times.

The standing of the online quote

The amount worked out by the form is based on the information you provide. Any inaccurate or incomplete information, in particular regarding floor area, year of construction, number of dwellings, municipality or the characteristics of the building, may lead to a price adjustment.

The price shown remains valid for the period stated on the quote and may be revised if the actual characteristics of the building differ from the information declared. Where that happens, any adjustment is put to you before the service agreement is sent to you.

Some inspection requests cannot be priced automatically because they concern a building, a use or a scope of mandate that does not match the services offered by Groupe Strux inc. In those cases, no price is shown and no mandate is accepted. Instead, we invite you to consult the "Trusted inspectors" section, set up for that purpose, to be directed to a professional who may be better able to meet your situation.

Accepting a quote online

Pre-accepting a quote through the form confirms your interest in the engagement described; the engagement is confirmed by the service agreement signed before the inspection. The pre-acceptance is recorded with its date and its time, as proof.

Any change made after acceptance gives rise to a new version of the quote, which has to be accepted again.

Accepting a quote does not book an inspection date. The appointment is agreed with you afterwards.

Limits of the inspection

A building inspection is a visual, non-destructive examination of the elements accessible at the time of the visit, carried out in accordance with standard BNQ 3009-500.

It is neither a warranty on the future condition of the building, nor a specialised expert assessment, nor a regulatory compliance check. Elements that are concealed, inaccessible or not observable on the day of the visit are reported as such in the report.

Use of the report

The report is produced for the client who ordered the inspection and for the property concerned. It may not be used by a third party or applied to another building. Reproducing part of it, out of context, is to be avoided.

Intellectual property

The text, images and graphic elements of this site belong to Inspection Strux or are used with permission. Any reproduction without prior agreement is prohibited.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws applicable in Québec. Any dispute falls to the courts of the competent judicial district in Québec.
