How it works

From the quote request to the follow-up conversation, here is each of the steps and what is expected of you at each one.

Get your price in under 5 minutes

The form asks you a series of questions so that you can get a personalized quote based on the characteristics of your building. Once the information has been provided, the amount is shown itemised — base price, applicable surcharges and taxes. You can go back at any point, and no payment is asked for at this stage.

We plan the inspection with you

Once the quote has been accepted, it is sent to us so that we can get in touch with you to agree on a date and a time that suit you, confirm the access needed for the inspection and send you the service agreement.

We carry out the inspection on site

You are welcome to be present at the inspection, so that you can ask your questions as the visit goes along and better understand the observations made on the building. The inspection is carried out in accordance with standard BNQ 3009-500 and covers the observable systems and components, subject to the conditions and limitations present at the time of the visit. In the context of a real estate transaction, a certificate of completion is also filled out and signed at the end of the inspection.

Receive your report within the agreed turnaround

Following the inspection, you receive a digital report setting out the observations made, together with relevant photographs and the applicable recommendations. A follow-up conversation is also included, to answer your questions about the observations recorded in the report.

What we include

Included in every mandate, at no extra charge, whichever type of inspection you choose.

  • Thermal imaging
  • Drone, as a complementary observation tool depending on conditions
  • Attached garage
  • Digital report with photos
  • A follow-up conversation after the report is delivered
Thermal imaging: detecting anomalies invisible to the naked eye Drone inspection: roof, hard-to-reach areas, detailed view

Why choose us

An inspection is about more than looking at a building. It should also help you understand what is observed and know which steps to consider. From the first conversation to the follow-up, we support you with rigour and care.

A rigorous method

Every inspection follows a structured approach, adapted to the building and to the mandate entrusted to us, in accordance with the applicable standard of practice.

A personal, educational approach

During the inspection, we take the time to walk you through each observation as it is made and to answer your questions. Our explanations adapt to your concerns to help you understand the situation.

Tools that serve the inspection

Thermal imaging is included in every inspection. When conditions allow, the drone can also be used to observe certain hard-to-reach components. These tools support the observations made on site.

Support that continues

Questions do not always end when the visit does. After the report is delivered, we remain available to go back over an observation, add details and help you better understand the recommended steps.

Frequently asked questions

The four questions we are asked most often before an inspection.

How much does an inspection cost?

The price depends on the type of building, its floor area and its year of construction. Travel is never charged as a supplement within our service territory. Thermal imaging is always included at no extra charge and is used as a complementary observation tool when conditions lend themselves to it; a drone may also be used, at no extra charge, to observe certain components that are hard to reach, when conditions allow its use. The quote form works out the applicable amount in a few minutes and presents it in detail, with no payment required at that stage.

How soon can I get an appointment?

How soon you can get an appointment depends mainly on how busy we are and on the number of inspection requests in progress. We do everything we can to be available within the time your transaction requires, and to be present at the inspection. If we cannot offer you an opening that fits your timeline, we can also refer you to trusted inspectors, to help you get served within the time you need.

What is the difference between a pre-purchase inspection, a pre-sale inspection and a health check?

The visit and the report are the same. What changes is the timing and the use: the pre-purchase inspection informs a buying decision, the pre-sale inspection prepares a listing, and the health check serves to plan the upkeep of a property you are keeping.

Do I have to be present during the inspection?

Your presence is not required, but it is recommended. Attending the inspection lets you see certain observations directly and ask your questions as the visit goes along. If you cannot be present, the inspection can still go ahead, provided the access needed to the building and to the components to be inspected is available.
